Retro Illum Performance Enhancement
By providing an improved ILLUM mode compared to the previous model, the system allows you to observe lens opacity (cataracts) or scratches on contact lenses through the monitor using the light reflected from the pupil.

User-Friendly Tilting LCD Monitor
Compared to the previous model, the LCD monitor has been enlarged (640×480 → 800×480) and can rotate vertically by 180° and horizontally by 135–145°, allowing the examiner to check the patient’s condition directly from various positions during examination.

Y-axis Semi-Auto Pupil Tracking
The device detects the pupil position and automatically adjusts the head height, reducing tracking time and enabling faster output of results. The user can switch between auto and manual tracking with one button.

Refraction / Keratometry Measurement
PRK-8000 offers a wide measurement range of -30D to +25D for refraction and 5.0mm to 13.0mm for keratometry. Refractive error and corneal curvature can be measured simultaneously with easy operation and instant result display.

Peripheral Keratometry Measurement
In addition to central keratometry, the patient looks at light sources in eight directions to measure the peripheral curvature radius, helping in the selection of appropriate contact lenses.

Intuitive Corneal Diameter Measurement
In the size mode, the corneal diameter can be checked for contact lens selection. It shows how much the cornea has expanded, and the lens size can be confirmed even without removing the contact lens.
